What qualifications do I need to become an Armoloy franchisee? It is not necessary that you have previous experience in the metal plating industry, as our Operations Manual has been written with the novice in mind. What is required, however, is the desire to succeed and the commitment to give your business the attention it needs to prosper. Our experience indicates that the prospect of success weighs heavily in favor of the owners who manage their own business. Are you a person who deals effectively with people? As an Armoloy franchisee, you must be both a salesman and a leader as you deal with customers and employees on a personal and daily basis. As the owner of the plant, you must be able to talk openly and honestly to your customers in order to develop their confidence and trust. You must treat your clientele with respect and courtesy, always remembering that the experience a customer has with your plant will determine his or her attitude towards doing business with you and/or other Armoloy franchises. Are you a person who understands business management? Some business knowledge is desirable. Only by understanding and controlling expenses, maintaining good sales levels and keeping organized records will you stay aware of and be prepared to control your bottom line. You must be accurate in your assessment of your business strengths and weaknesses, moving quickly to promote and correct them respectively as necessary.

Training As a new franchisee, you will begin your plant after undergoing a 4-6 week Franchise Training Program. Armoloy will also be present upon your Grand Opening with a technical person to insure that your start-up operations go smoothly. Technical information is provided through the Armoloy Corporation Laboratory in DeKalb. Continual testing and R & D is always in evidence. Complete monitoring of your individual plant, Armoloy solution chemistry and the physical coating are ongoing. Our field staff will aid you as required on technical and sales information.
